Twiztid - Heartbroken & Homicidal: An album that really mixed up Twiztid's musical style and changed what many would have expected from them, I feel this album is very underappreciated and a lot of people even ignore it and refuse to give it a try. I feel that this is because of the change. I remember back before abominationz came out I saw a video of Twiztid talking about how this would be THE album. Kind of like Violent J referred to the Missing Link in an interview. Anyways, Twiztid was saying that Abominationz would be fantastic and that they were sorry for all their other albums and they listed some of them off. In the list of the albums that they were sorry for was this. I understand that they weren't really sorry theey just wanted to make sure people understood how kickass abominationz was.

My favorite part about this album may not actually be the music, but the cool stuff that they did with the CD packaging. If you own the phisical CD, It comes with a little black pencil with the Twiztid logo on it. The lyrics are on the inside but unless you color over them with the pencil or you beam the light just right on them, you can't read them. This was the first CD I ever got by Twiztid. Before this album, I never gave any other Psychopathic Records Artists a chance. I was a big fan of ICP and I went to best buy to pick up one of their albums. Best Buy strangely had none in stock, but this album was there and I knew that Twiztid was similar to ICP so I bought it.

This album is different from a bunch of their other music. There's more of a rock beat on several of the songs and this album in general just has a different feel. I thought this album was just okay at first, but it sat on my CD shelf for another year until I gave it another listen. The second time around I really appreciated it. The whole album has good aspects of it. Even the worst song on this album is still good. My personal favorite song on this album Is "What I'm feelin'". Most people are well aware of the song "Spiderwebs" but I feel there are beter songs on this album. Some examples being; Cirlces, PSA, Set by Example and Apple. This album is definitely underappreciated, but if you like Twiztid and you haven't given this album a listen, do yourself a favor and listen to it. You'll love it. 8.5/10

As always thanks for reading MMFWCL
