This review will be different than normal because this one will be done on my site instead of on instagram and transferred to my site like my usual reviews. I'll try to get a short version of this on instagram. Before we get started, Thank you Alieboii for the request. Keep up the wicked shit, MMFWCL.

Dark Lotus - The Opaque Brotherhood: This album features a fantastic cover of the terracotta army. This album features what is one of my absolute favorite dark lotus songs of all time -- Heinous. I love that song, but we'll ignore that and get on with the review. I would say this is my favorite album and all that stuff that you're all used to seeing, but I can't do that with dark lotus. I'll be like, "My favorite dark lotus album is Opaque Brotherhood... no black rain .... wait, their new one..." and that is why I truely don't have a favorite dark lotus album. They've all got their reasons why theyre special and this one is no exception. The lyrics on this one are exceptionally dark and the choruses are fantastic, but thats something that you can always expect from Dark Lotus. These guys are master hook writers. Pretty any Psychopathic release has incredible hooks. I think probably the most well rounded song off of here would be Heinous though. If someone listened to that song only, They'd have a pretty good idea about the formulaic formatting of the rest of the album. this album is so great because it is a happy medium of all the things that makes dark lotus good. The fact that their lyrics are so dark and that its all of the good artists together in one place for you to enjoy. I'm going to end this review by saying that no matter how good this, or any Dark Lotus album is, they still have yet to top (or are they going to) their best song ever... Echoside from The Amazing Jeckel Brothers. But this is a great album that deserves some serious recognition and is worth every penny. 9.5/10

Oh shit, while we're at it let's discuss the tour version. You'll pay a pretty penny (about 30$ extra) for this version, but it is well worth it, especially if you're a collector. The extra songs are fantastic and they add to the rest of the album so well. I think if this was the entire original album, it earns 10/10. if you dont have 45$ to spare, look 'em up on youtube.
